In a Funk

My name is psquared, and I am a news junkie.

When big events happen in the world my personal life melts away and I roost in front of my television at home or stew by the XM radio at work.

By chance, last week, I ordered a huge LCD HDTV – because I have wanted one for many years. I now watch the ruined lives of gulf coast residents in crisp clear colors I have never known before. The surround sound cries for a normal life lost fill the apartment. Flashes of now devastated hotels I have stayed at several times before are emblazed in my minds eye forever.

“When the Big Easy calls, you have to accept the charges” said Bart Simpson. I have to agree, and urge you all to donate what you can to the Red Cross.
